It is with sadness that the passing of Shirley MacPhail of Lowell, Massachusetts is shared. Shirley, born on November 4, 1941, passed away on October 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Shirley will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Though Shirley is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Shirley’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertram Champlin and Doris Champlin (Fairbrother). She is survived by: her daughters, Kelly Riley of Lowell, MA, Laurie Trundy of Lowell, MA, Patricia Couture (Stephen) of Hampstead, NH and Dina Costa of Lowell, MA; and her brother Robert Champlin (Diane) of Barrington, NH. She is also survived by three grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Rita's Church (158 Mammoth Rd, Lowell, MA 01854).
