She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Teixeira and Gloriana Teixeira (Grilo); and her sisters, Cesaltina, Estrela and Natalia.
She is survived by: her spouse Edmundo Almeida; her sons, Ricardo (Leigh Anne) of Andover, Gualter (Lisa) of Lowell, Paul (Maggie) of Wilmington and Helio (Popi) of Grafton; her grandchildren, Andrew, Mikayla, Sofia, Alexander, Christiano, Colin, Thalia, Chloe and Maximos; and her sisters, Fatima, Oriana and Maria of Deus. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, godchildren and in laws.
