She was predeceased by : her parents, Antonio Machado Borba and Maria Amaral Borba. She is survived by : her husband Antonio V. Carlos; her son David Carlos (Lynn Scanlon) of Lowell; her siblings, Maria D. Silveira (late Jose Eleuterio Silveira), Serafina Morais (Julio), Fatima (Isalino Borba) of Lowell, Christina Dias (Jose) and John Borba (late Patricia) of Lowell; and her godson Joe Silveira (Paula).
