With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Theodore Antonios Kacavas of Lowell, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 20, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonios Kakavas and Triandafillia Kakavas (Trigkilidas); and his siblings, Zoe Kennos, Vasilios Kakavas, Nikolaos Kakavas and Efstathia Dimakarakos.
He is survived by: his spouse Constantina (Stavropoulos); his children, Antonios "Tony" Kacavas of Wichita Falls, TX, Louie Kacavas (Iris Tsitsipas) of Lowell and Maria Kacavas of Lowell; and his grandchildren, Theodore Kacavas (Jessi Hayes-Kacavas) of North Chelmsford and Constantina Michelle Kacavas of Wichita Falls, TX. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (62 Lewis St, Lowell, MA 01824).
