He was predeceased by: his sibling Sandy Schofield; Elizabeth Simas. He is survived by: his spouse Maria Simas; his children, Thomas J. of Cambridge, Steven J. of Tewksbury, Scott A. Simas of Somerville and Christine Buttaro of Tewksbury; his siblings, Maureen Snook and Kathy Amerault; and his stepchildren, Manny DaCosta, Rosa Fallon and Maria Cotter. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
