Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Parish of Saint Rita (158 Mammoth Rd, Lowell, MA 01854). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Atty. Thomas E. Sweeney may be made to either the Dr. Joseph D. Sweeney Science Award, a scholarship for Lowell High School graduates planning a career in the sciences, c/o Greater Lowell Community Foundation, 169 Merrimack Street, Lowell, MA 01852, or the Father Edward Randall, OMI Scholarship, for grammar school graduates admitted to Lowell Catholic High School, c/o Lowell Catholic High School, 530 Stevens Street, Lowell, MA 01851.
