He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Zupkoski and Caroline Zupkoski (Czaikiute); his son Walter Skip Zepkoski; and his siblings, Joseph Zepkoski, Josephine Gioia, John Zupkosky, Alphonse Zupkosky (Therese), Michael P. Zepkoski, Stanley Zepkoski and Mary Zepkoski.

He is survived by: his close friend Maria Maille of Lowell; his sister-in-law Helen Zupkosky; his nephews, John Zupkosky of Milford, NH and Michael Zepkoski Jr. of Lowell; his niece Donna Hamilton of Lowell; Christine Maillie of Lowell.
