William Geary Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Geary of Lowell, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 17, 2025 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Geary to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Geary (Kelley); his parents, Catherine E. Geary (Delehanty) and Lowell Mayor; his siblings, Kathleen Morris (Richard), Carol Geary, Estelle Geary and Eugene R. Geary; and his siblings-in-law, Marie Geary (Rioux), Ann Geary (Barrett), George Donovan, Cornelius Kelley, Daniel, Dorothy Hogan, Paul and Eleanor Freeley.
He is survived by: his children, William C. Geary III (Kathleen) of Lowell, Catherine M. Geary of Lowell, Heinz-Dieter Meyer of Lowell, Stephen B. Geary (Ellen) of Lowell, John C. Geary (Beth) of Lowell and Nancy Geary Funaro (Francis Funaro) of Lowell; his grandchildren, Caitlin Baggeroer (Mark), Sean Geary (Jane), Jennifer Beardsall (Andrew), Anna Geary-Meyer, Meghan Conlon (Jake), Henry Funaro, Matthew Geary, Nora Funaro, Bridget Geary and Jack Geary; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Connor Baggeroer, Archer, Remy Beardsall, Nolan and Aidan Geary; his sister Marie Donovan (Geary); his sisters-in-law, Dorothea Kelley and Virginia Geary; and his son Joseph P. Geary.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (282 Suffolk St, Lowell, MA 01854). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Patrick Church - Lowell Suffolk (282 Suffolk St, Lowell, MA 01854).
