He was predeceased by: his spouse Moul Svay; his parent Lok Yin; and his child Yay Yin. He is survived by: his children, Saroun Yin, Kim Lee of Cambodia, Amy Souson (Map) of Lowell and Chanty Yin (Sovanna Ros) of Fresno, CA. He is also survived by five grandchildren, as well as many great grandchildren and nieces.
