He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Serra (Rosario) and Florindo Lopes Serra; his siblings, Madail, Antonio and Maria; and his brothers-in-law, Antonio Serra and Pedro Matias.
He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Georgina Serra-Hawkins (Mark), Teresa Fernandes (Domingos) and Silver (Maria João); his grandchildren, Dario, Samuel, Benjamin, Georgia and Oliver; his brother Armenio; his sister-in-law Guiomar; his sister Idalina Matias; his sister-in-law Idalina Serra; and his nephew Louis Matias. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Ludlow Funeral Home (432 East St, Ludlow, MA 01056). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Parish (438 Winsor St, Ludlow, MA 01056).
