Antonio Gomes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Antonio Gomes of Ludlow, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 5, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Antonio Gomes to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joaquim Gomes and Maria Gomes; and his aunt Paixao Monteiro (Antonio). He is survived by: his wife Maria Gomes (Fernandes); his daughter Jennifer Calheno (Augie Calheno Jr.); his grandson Jackson; his siblings, Jose Gomes (Maria), Maria Marta (Fausto) and Elena Ganhao (Jorge); his goddaughter Cristina Saraiva (Armand); his nephews, Paulo Marta (Lori) and Scott Gomes-Ganhao (Stephanie); his aunt Maria Marques (late Jose); and his uncle Jose Pires (late Carma). He is also survived by many cousins; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Parish (438 Winsor St, Ludlow, MA 01056).
