He was predeceased by: his parents, Armelin Sr. Saloio and Luciana Saloio (Ribeiro); his wife Mary Grace Saloio (Palatino); and his siblings, James, Jose, Carlos Saloio, Ida Santos and Irene Methe.

He is survived by: his children, Arlene Reis (Richard) of East Longmeadow, Kathleen Saloio of Ludlow, Marie Carcieri (William) of Rhode Island, Armelin "Lenny" Saloio III (Donna) of Ludlow, David Saloio (Sharon) of Springfield and John Saloio (Louise) of Chester; his grandchildren, Richard Reis, Jr., Karey Mortimer, Christopher Drost, Steven Drost, Rachael Pleitez, Gabriella Saloio, Caroline Saloio, Desiree Moriarty, Anthony Saloio, Cristina Schultz, Natalie Saloio and Jonathan Saloio; and his brothers, Arthur, Manuel and Raymond. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
