Benta Marques Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benta Marques of Ludlow, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 19, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bento (Maria Marques) and Benta; her husband Mario; her son Jose Maria; her brother Jose Marques; and her brother-in-law Amandio.

She is survived by: her children, Domingos Marques (Maria Nelia), Judith Da Silva (Horacio) of Ludlow and Rose of Texas; her grandchildren, Christine (Justin) of Ludlow, Daniel of Ludlow, Jason of Ludlow and Steven (Kelly) of Ludlow; her great grandchildren, Avery, Camden and Dakota; her sisters, Rosa Carvalheiro and Alexandrina Marcelino (Fernando); and her sister-in-law Benvinda Marques. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Benta's memory to Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Ludlow, MA.
