Bento Mendes Goncalves Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bento Mendes Goncalves of Ludlow, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 24, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Goncalves and Ana Maria Mendes Marques; his wife Maria Goncalves; and his sister Ana Goncalves. He is survived by: his children, Tony M. Goncalves (Henrietta) and Maria Maggi (John); his grandchildren, Hailee Lester (Ryan), Kyle Goncalves (Kelsey), Melissa Nix (Jeremy), Nathan Hague and Madalyn Hague; his great grandchild Cecelia Lester; and his siblings, João Goncalves and Joaquina Goncalves. He is also survived by many loving extended family members and dear friends.
Visiting hours are Monday evening from 5:00-7:00pm at the funeral home and in lieu of flowers it was the wish of Bento's family that donations be made in his memory to: Alzheimer's Association at Alz.org.
