She was predeceased by: her parents, Jan Polys and Balbina Polys (Furgal); her husband Ernest; and her siblings, Adam, Stanley, Frank, Casimir, Joseph Polys, Ester Martinelli, Rose Walczak and Ida Bobwiec.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Surprenant (Kate) of Ludlow, Joanne Teixeira (Louis) of Palmer and Karen Belanger of Granby; her grandchildren, Marie, Luis and Jody; and her caregiver Carolyn of Beacon Hospice. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers it was the wish of Cecilia's family that donations be made in her memory to: Beacon Hospice, 815 Worcester St, Springfield 01151.
