“I grew up playing with Cristina on Lakeview Avenue in Ludlow. We had many great times just being kids together, running, playing ball on our dead-end street, or hide-and-seek; laughing as we ran through the sprinklers or pushed each other higher, higher, higher on the swing set in my backyard. She was two years older than me and I just thought she was the coolest thing ever, in her denim bell bottoms and cool T-shirts. RIP, dear friend.”
