He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement Wells and Dorothy Wells (Martin); and his wife Janice Wells (Phoenix). He is survived by: his sons, Dean Wells of Ludlow and Brian Wells (Kathleen) of Killingworth, CT; his brother-in-law Raymond Phoenix II; his nephew Raymond Phoenix III of Ludlow; his grandson Ian Wells; and his stepgrandchildren, Kelly, Corey and Dillon McQuade.
