He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sanford and Doris Sanford (Stevens); his daughter Carolyn; and his siblings, Jean-Lee Marchese, James "Butch" Sanford and Dr. Robert (Myrtle MacIntosh).
He is survived by: his pet Collie; his daughters, Christine Sanford (Scott Gorrie), Heather Sanford and Carrie Ribeiro (Joe); his sister Linda Jo Gershowitz (Melvin); and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Karley, Nathan, Nicole and Jack. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Ludlow Funeral Home (432 East St, Ludlow, MA 01056). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Burial will be held privately by his family and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Doug's memory to SIDS Foundation.
