He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Lafayette and Loretta Lafayette (Goodrow); his siblings, Priscilla Dufresne (late Thomas) and Robert Lafayette; and his siblings-in-law, Clara Barlow (late John), Ruth Coviello and John Bachta (late Louise).
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Ann Bachta; his children, Michelle Slotnick (Barry), Marc Lafayette (Karen) and Brian Lafayette; his grandchildren, Samantha Stanton (David), Andrew Slotnick, Marcus Lafayette (Rebecca), Alexander Lafayette, Nicholas Lafayette (Maxine Kowalski) and Amanda Lafayette; his great grandchild Kiera Lafayette; his sister Patricia Michalik (late Richard); and his brother-in-law Anthony. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Ludlow Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements and in lieu of flowers donations may be made in Frederick's memory to Friends of the Ludlow Senior Center.
