João left this world on October 7, 2025 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his father Antonio Marques; and his brother Jose Marques. He is survived by: his brother Fernando Marques (Aida); and his siblings-in-law, Aurora Marques of Portugal, Manuel A. Rodrigues of Portugal, Jay (Irene Kane) and Jon (Lori Cummings). He is also survived by his god children and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Ludlow Funeral Home (432 East St, Ludlow, MA 01056). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Parish (438 Winsor St, Ludlow, MA 01056).
