She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Ferreira and Maria Faustina; her husband Jose Tomas Pio; and her siblings, Maria Faustina, Ana Faustina, Dionilde Faustina, Nazare Faustina, Joaquim Ferreira and Manuel Ferreira.
She is survived by: her children, Silvino Pio (Maria) of Ludlow, Fernanda Pereira of Ludlow, Maria Duarte (Delfim) of Florida and Jose Manuel Pio (Carol); her sister Ilda Paulo of Chicopee; her grandchildren, Pedro Pereira (Sandra), Sandra Kozaczka (Joseph), Lisa Brecher (Joe), Jason Duarte (Roxanne), Nicole Baltazar (Paul) and Bryan Duarte (Mark); her great grandchildren, Kyle, Alexis, Kamryn, Cailyn, Max and Sam; and her caregiver Maria Tomas.
