It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maria (Gomes) Pires of Ludlow, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 11, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elias Gomes and Augusta Gomes (Batista); and her siblings, Jose, Lurdes Gomes, Joaquina Lopes (Manuel), Gloria Monteiro (Antonio) and Brother Joaquim Gomes (Maria).

She is survived by: her husband Jose Pires; her daughter Judy Ribeiro (Victor) of Ludlow; and her caregiver Meghan. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and extended family.
