He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Kupiec and Bertha Kupiec (Gmyr); his wife Anita Kupiec (Koczur); and his siblings, John and Mary.

He is survived by: his sons, Michael Kupiec (Darlene) of Springfield, Edward Kupiec of Monson and Mitchell S. Kupiec of Ludlow; his grandchildren, Amanda, Nicholas, Gregory, Kristin, Stephanie and Alexis; and also, Hannah, Haley and Harlowe.
