(Hare) Palermo of Ludlow, Massachusetts, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore R. Hare and Cecile M. Hare (Fontaine); her brother Alan Hare; her father-in-law Paul Palermo Sr.; and her brother-in-law Mark Palermo.

She is survived by: her husband Paul J. Palermo; her daughters, Melissa A. Varrecchia (Ben) of Johnson City, TN, Brianna L. Godbout (Marc) of Palmer and Christa M. Palermo of Myrtle Beach, SC; her grandsons, August, Eli Varrecchia, Myles and Logan Godbout; her sister-in-law Amy Hare of Bluffton, SC; her nephew Andrew Hare (Elisabeth); her great-nephew Henry Alan Hare; her mother-in-law Antonia Palermo of Saugus, MA; her siblings-in-law, Edward Palermo, Walter of Saugus, David Palermo (Denise) of Saugus, Jeffrey Palermo (Cynthia) of Parkland, FL and Patty Palermo of Danvers; and her friends, Denise Dickinson of Worcester and Lynda Rossi of Monson.

“Nancy was a dear childhood classmate for 8 years at ICS. I am so sorry we did not connect at one of the luncheons a few of us girls had planned, and we lived unknowingly so close by. I remember attending her birthday party, her being the tallest girl in class at one point, and her lovely smile. That she thoroughly enjoyed motherhood is not a surprise.
