He is survived by: his spouse Albertina Ferreira (Teixeira Rodrigues); his children, João Ferreira (Michelle), Manuel Ferreira (Cynthia), Jose Ferreira (Krystle), Maria Da Conçeicão Ekmalian (James Jr.), Antonieta Mathieson (Wilson), Fatima Kijak (John) and Elizeu Ferreira; his grandchildren, Jessica, James M. II (Sara), James E. III (Nicole), Kevin, Justin (Gabriel), Shane, Robert (Jamie), Ashley (Dennis), Sara, Matthew, Stephanie (Nathan), Jenna (Cole), Francesca (Chris), Lindsay (Collin), Katie (Becky), Christopher, Kelsey and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Ava, Elliot, Inês, Bryson, Zaidyn, Bethany, Giavanna, Levi, Grace, Julius, Brynlie, Hunter and Oakley; and his sibling Dores Pina (late Antonio). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
