He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Cardinal and Nora Cardinal (Bousley); and his great grandchildren, Max and Leo Alves. He is survived by: his siblings, Leo (Paula), Carol (George), Emond of Lunenburg, MA and Clayton (Joan); his children, Nancy (Fitchburg), David and Edmond Cardinal; his daughter-in-law Moira Cardinal; and his grandson Joshua Cardinal.
