He was predeceased by: his parents, Armand Dumont and Rita Dumont (Ouimette); and his siblings, Armand Dumont Jr. and Marilyn Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Ines "Ann" Dumont (Domingos) of Ludlow; his daughter Kim Mathisen (Peter) of Wilbraham; and his sisters, Linda Metayer (Theodore) and Shirley Koch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
