She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Tavernier and Viola Tavernier (Daigle); her husband Thomas "Skip" Sears; her siblings, Francis Tavernier, Jeanne Tavernier, Loretta Beauvais and Clara Desotelle; and her great grandchild Claire.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas "Chip" Sears, Michael Sears and Patricia Walter; and her grandchildren, Shannon, Sean, Robert, Brandon, Theresa and Joshua. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
