We bid farewell to Gunnar Nordahl of Lunenburg, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 19, 2025 at the age of 78. Gunnar touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leif A. Nordahl and Gerd H. Nordahl (Johansen); and his brother-in-law Thomas Cantwell. He is survived by: his wife Carol E. Nordahl (Wilbur); his children, Kirsten DeFelice (Brian) of Lunenburg and Erik Nordahl (Stephanie) of Holden; his grandchildren, Paul, Nicholas, Jack DeFelice, Hannah, Emma, Erik and Julia Nordahl; and his sister Karin Cantwell of Sturbridge. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home (91 Central St, Auburn, MA 01501).
In honoring his memory, the family requests that memorial donations in Gunnar's name can be made to the American Diabetes Association (http://www.diabetes.org), or to a charity of one's choice, reflecting his lifelong commitment to helping others.
