Luanne Hunter MacMillan Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Luanne Hunter MacMillan of Lunenburg, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 12, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hunter and Virginia Penniman (Whitcomb); her stepfather Merton Penniman; her father-in-law Douglas K. MacMillan; and her sister Barbara Hunter.

She is survived by: her husband Robert B. MacMillan; her children, Jaime L. Moore (Ryan) of Lunenburg, Jennifer L. MacMillan and Douglas R. M. MacMillan (Becky) of Lunenburg; her siblings, Pamela Najarian of Hopedale, Kay Salo of Lunenburg, Bruce Penniman of Amherst, Wayne Penniman of Gardner and Keith Penniman of Ashburnham; her mother-in-law Marilyn A. MacMillan (Proctor) of Lunenburg; her grandchildren, Jesse MacMillan, Katlyn Moore, Brooke Lyons, Peyton Lyons, Noah Moore, Emersyn Moore, Kaleb Bell, Alia Bell, Robert MacMillan and Steven MacMillan; and her brother Bob Hunter of Lunenburg. She is also survived by 26 nieces and nephews, and many grand nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or to the American Cancer Society.
