She was predeceased by: her husband John Heckel; and her brother Paul Wernli of St. Pete Beach, Florida.. She is survived by: her daughters, Cheri Brimhall (Eric) of Winchendon and Tobi Margis (Eric Leblanc) of Lunenburg; her sisters, Janis Ruhl of Lockport and Cheryl Weinert of New Lenox, Illinois; and her grandsons, Maclean Brimhall (Laney) of Charleston, SC, Tanner and Quinn. She is also survived by mother to her children; a loyal friend to her loved ones; and her grandsons.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Gardner Ward.
