The memory of William P. McNamara of Lunenburg, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 28, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary McNamara (Buckley) and Thomas McNamara; and his wife Anne McNamara (Mitchell). He is survived by: his children, Kelly DiNapoli of Tewksbury, William P. McNamara, Jr. (Karen) of Billerica and Kristen Hyslop (John) of Tewksbury; his grandchildren, Michael, Kaitlyn DiNapoli, Addison, Sydney and Kassidy Hyslop; his girlfriend Diane Sheerer of Lunenburg; and his partner's daughters, Irene Butler of Leominster and Lisa Sheerer of Dracut.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A procession will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the George L Doherty Funeral Service (855 Broadway, Somerville, MA 02144). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church- Somerville (262 Washington St, Somerville, MA 02143). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Puritan Lawn Cemetery (185 Lake St, Peabody, MA 01960-4798).
