When she reentered the workforce later in life, she returned to the General Electric campus in an administrative role for the Defense Contract Audit Agency, an agency of the U.S. Department of Defense. Anne worked for DCAA until her retirement in 1997.
Anne had a passion and talent for music. In her younger years, she took voice and piano lessons and sang at church and weddings. When family came to visit her at Life Care Center of the North Shore, where she resided for the last seven years, Anne would ask them to play Irish tunes and Elvis songs on their phones. She was also an avid reader of biographies and enjoyed crossword puzzles.

She leaves her grandchildren Beth, Amy, Steven, Wayne, Christopher, Zachary, and Carmel. She also leaves three great grandchildren Devin, Kayden, and Emma as well as several nieces and nephews.
