Charles Gerard Kirby Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Gerard Kirby of Lynn, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard M. Kirby and Dorothy A. Kirby (McQuade); and his parents-in-law, Herbert E. and Lucy D. Brook. He is survived by: his children, Rachel M. Kirby of Haverhill, Erika L. McLeod (Erik R. McLeod) of Newton, NH and Charles R. Kirby of Amesbury; his grandchildren, Lochlan V. and Reighna L. McLeod (Cheryl A. Kirby) of Amesbury; and his siblings, Richard M. Kirby Jr. (Nancy Brown) of Lowell, Mary Nussbaum (Larry), Paul Kirby (Kim), Elizabeth Ruiz of Lynn, John Kirby (Diane) of Swampscott, Michael Kirby (Teresa), Sarah Curtis (Skip) of Princeton, James Kirby (Lori) of Nahant and David Kirby of Lynn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Solimine Funeral Home - Broadway (426 Broadway, Lynn, MA 01904). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM and at 10:00 AM.
