He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Louis Cuthbert and Lillian Cuthbert (Collins); his siblings, Edward Cuthbert, Marilyn McLaughlin, Colleen Dalgewicz, Gwendolyn Corson and Dolores Mitchell; and his son Francis X. Cuthbert.

He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Cuthbert (Mitchell); and his children, Michael Cuthbert (Deborah) of Nashua, NH, Linda Segee (Paul Amoroso) of Kingston, NH, Debra Conley of Lynn, Thomas Cuthbert (Karen) of Lynn, Kathleen Cuthbert of Lynn, Allison Keating (Paul) of Lynn, Leslie Fiore (Michael VanTasell) of Lynn and Marianne Bright of Wells, ME.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Francis to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
