We announce the death of James J. Dalton of Lynn, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 25, 2026, at the age of 77. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Dalton and Anna Dalton; and his sister Anneliese Dalton. He is survived by: his wife Marie Ann (Gulia); his daughters, Christina Dalton and Linda Capek; his granddaughters, Brittany Dalton, Emily Capek and Gracie Capek; his great grandchild Beau Dalton; his brothers, Edward Dalton and John Dalton; and his half-sister Denise Dalton.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Solimine Funeral Home - Broadway (426 Broadway, Lynn, MA 01904). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (8 S Common St, Lynn, MA 01902).
