With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James F. Hohmann (Lynn, Massachusetts), born in Malden, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 25, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Hohmann and Carolyn Hohmann (Daniels); and his siblings, Frederick, Walter, Daniel Hohmann and Margaret Hohmann.

He is survived by: his wife Judith Wells; his children, Regina Mongno of Lynnfield, Maureen Hohmann of Lynn, James P. Hohmann of Lynnfield, Erin Hohmann of Lynnfield and Phyllis Giardano of Lynnfield; and his siblings, Christopher Hohmann of West Warwick, RI, Andrew Hohmann of Salem and Mary Hohmann of Lowell. He is also survived by two granddaughters and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

We were friends for 75 years, starting in the first grade in 1945 at the Armitage School, growing up at Anna Parker playground, visiting him up in Plum Island as a kid, friends all threw school and every few years we would get together and get caught up with each of our lives.
