With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James O'Brien (Lynn, Massachusetts), who passed away on February 17, 2018 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Walter O'Brien; and his sibling Walter O'Brien. He is survived by: his spouse Pamella Messer-O'Brien (Peachey); his parent Helen O'Brien (Higgins); his spouse Aruba; his children, Kim-Marie Phelan (Mark O'Connor) of Marblehead, James Kevin O'Brien (Faith) of Everett and Nerine Sullivan (Timothy) of Merrimac; his grandchildren, James Wright, Brittany O'Neil, Joshua O'Neil, Patrick Phelan and Timothy Sullivan; and his sibling Helene Nease. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
