It is with sadness that the passing of James F. Samms of Lynn, Massachusetts is shared. James, born on December 9, 1942, passed away on August 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Ellen Samms (Sanders); his parents, James C. Samms and Catherine G. Samms (Mercurio); his son James F. Samms Jr.; his grandchild Quincy Samms Boob; and his brother Robert Samms.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Marie Mento (Dan Barthel) of Salem, Cheryl Ann Sill (Rich Cassidy) of Swampscott and Sonia Kay Samms (Joyce Redford) of Washington State; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Melissa, Michael, Jennifer, Jillian, Trevor, Kayla, David and Brianna; and his sister Cecilia Duggan of Saugus. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
