He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rose Ann Elsie (Schumacher) and Marvin L. Beed; his wife Shirley Ann Beed (Brand); his children, DaleAnn Grosh (Ken), Vaughn Beed (Teresa) and Jody King (Stephen); his grandchildren, Kelli Jo Stevens (Shane), Jeromy Beed (Megan), Jason and Andrew King; his great grandchildren, Brock, Harper and Marshall Beed; his sisters, Ruth Groothuis, Mardell Koehler and Darlene Stuhr (Chuck); and his granddaughter Melanie Beed. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Donations in Loren's memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, a cause he became passionate about as he cared for Shirley.
