He was predeceased by: his wife Penny Spring (Fish); and his parents, Elmore M. Spring and Geraldine L. Spring. He is survived by: his children, Stacey Clay (Frederick) of Ossipee, NH, Kelly Hill of Lynn and Melvin Spring, Jr. (April) of Lynn; his grandchildren, Christine Hill, Samantha Haskell, Collin Clay, Ashley Spring, Carter Clay and Kaitlyne Spring; his great grandchild Dominic Cedano; and his sister Patricia Spring of Lynn.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home (157 Maple St, Lynn, MA 01904). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Pius V Church (215 Maple St, Lynn, MA 01904).
