He is survived by: his friend Donald; his wife Lois Griffin; his children, Jeloni Johnson (Nahomie) of Brockton, Michael Clayton of Illinois, Mario Clayton of North Carolina, Shakur Clayton of Illinois, Shaunte Mendoza of Virginia, Stephanie Clayton of Illinois, Shauna Evan of Mississippi, Jasmine Clayton of Peabody and Makayla Clayton of Illinois; his stepdaughters, Tiffany Farris-Ward (Anthony Ward) of Malden, Ebony and Sheena White of Lynn; his grandchildren, Jenai and Jayce Johnson of Brockton; his stepgrandchildren, Kyree Ward of Malden, Jason and Jordin Perry of Lynn; and his siblings, Patricia James of Illinois, Kenneth James of Boston and Carla Griffin of Providence. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Goodrich Funeral Home (128 Washington St, Lynn, MA 01902). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the City Hall (3 City Hall Square, Lynn, MA 01901).
