He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Susan (Johnson); his parents, Michael A. Gilroy and Reta Gilroy (Malm); his children, Daniel Gilroy (Draga) of Middleton, Joel Gilroy (Edmonton) of Lynn and Lindsay Gilroy of Lynn; his grandchildren, Darby, Caden Gilroy (Edmonton), Luke and David Djordjevic-Gilroy (Middleton); his siblings-in-law, Elaine Johnson (Hawaii), Karen Johnson (Wayne Millen), Kenneth Johnson (Mary) and Michael C. Anderson; and his nephew Joseph Anderson. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, as well as lifelong friends.
