It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelson Alvarez (Lynn, Massachusetts), who passed away on June 28, 2020, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by : his children, LaDonna Flynn, Nathaniel and June Evans; his mother Juana Alvarez; his siblings, Margarita Ferrari, Nulinda Garcia, Nancy Grullon, Roberto and Jose Alvarez; his close friend Marlene Romero; his nephew Carlos Ortiz; and his daughter Stephanie Robertson.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Nelson's honor may be made to Border Angels, 2258 Island Ave., San Diego, CA 92102.
