She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Brewster and Laura Brewster (Merryman); and her siblings, Steven Brewster, Laura "Jean" Gilbert and Nancy Burns.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Paul (Edward Paul), Stacey Tobin (Cook) and Danielle J. Downing (Christine Murray); her husband James W. Downing Jr.; her sister Bertha; and her grandchildren, William Moran, Hayleigh Moran, Anthony Garland, Raymond Garland and Pamela Vashon (McCarthy).
