He was predeceased by: his daughter Rosa Cruz. He is survived by: his wife Esperanza J. Bonilla of Cruz; and his children, Rafael Cruz, Bernarda Cruz De Jerez, Claudia Cruz, Bielka Cruz and Ricky Cruz. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
