Aikins (Doucette); his children, Richard G. Aikins, Jr. of Peabody, Michael R. Aikins of Hanover, Joseph G. Aikins of Boxford and Karen M. Goldman of Uxbridge; his stepchildren, John LoPresti (Cindy) of Naples, FL, Dawn LoPresti of Beverly, Lisa Faraci (Arthur), Anthony LoPresti (Caroline) of Saugus and Angela LoPresti of Beverly; his sister Cheryl Steer of Salem; and his sister-in-law Marlene Aikins of Rockledge, FL.. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
