With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert J. Devereaux (Lynn, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 26, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert J. Devereaux to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Devereaux and Rose Devereaux; and his siblings, Mary Ogar, James J. Devereaux, Jr., Paul Devereaux and Jeanne Arsenault.
He is survived by: his sibling's children, Jean Burns, Ellen Johnson, Paula Devereaux, James Ogar, James Devereaux and Michael Devereaux; and his great-niece Rose.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Solimine Funeral Home - Ocean Street (67 Ocean St, Lynn, MA 01902). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (8 S Common St, Lynn, MA 01902). A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (15 High St, Nahant, MA 01908).
