We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2025, at the age of 35, Timothy Vega of Lynn, Massachusetts, born in Chelsea, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sisters, Tanya and Melissa Vega. He is survived by: his parents, Timoteo Vega and Rosa M. Santiago-Melendez (Hector Melendez); and his siblings, Kassandra Otero, Vanessa Blas, Yarelis Vega, Valeria, Nicole and Giovanny Melendez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a vast network of extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Welsh Funeral Home (718 Broadway, Chelsea, MA 02150). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rose Church (600 Broadway, Chelsea, MA 02150). A burial was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (175 Broadway, Malden, MA 02148).
