She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond and Yvette (Germain); and her son Fritz Charles Mathis, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Fritz Charles Mathis; her daughters, Taisha I. (Stephon Rochelle) of Worcester and Jennifer C. Mathis of Lynn; her brothers, Pressoir DesRuisseaux (Carmel) of Miami, FL, Reynold DesRuisseaux of Hollywood, FL, Patrick DesRuisseaux of Lynn and Ralph DesRuisseaux (Rosslyn) of Lynn; her grandchildren, Asiah of Worcester, Stephon Jr. of Worcester, Jaeden of Worcester and Tyshon Rochelle of Worcester; and her in-laws, Max, Gertha Mathis of Georgia, Yves, Virginia Mathis of Lynn, Jocelyne Dorce of Georgia and Nicole Mathis of Lynn. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parker Funeral Home (35 Franklin St, Lynn, MA 01902). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Burial: Following the service at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn, In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Marie's name to the American Cancer.
